WASHINGTON (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — Police in Los Angeles, California, released footage on Friday that shows a hit-and-run incident during which a father pushed his daughter out of the way of a speeding car.
The footage was described by police as showing a father and his 11-year-old daughter walking across a pedestrian crossing in Glassell Park on Nov. 16, 2018.
The footage shows a vehicle approaching them at high speed and the father pushing his daughter out of the way before he is hit. He sustained a broken right femur while his daughter walked away with scratches on her face, police said.
Local media identified the father as Michael DeVore, who was walking his daughter home from school at the time of the incident.
