JUPITER, Fla. (CIRCA) — New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has broken his silence for the first time since he was charged with solicitation at a spa in Florida, according to ESPN.
"I am truly sorry. I know I have hurt and disappointed my family, my close friends, my co-workers, our fans and many others who rightfully hold me to a higher standard," the statement read in part.

The news first broke on Feb. 22, when police announced that Kraft was charged with two misdemeanors for soliciting prostitution at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa.
Police also stated that Kraft was videotaped twice paying for the acts.
