LAFAYETTE, La. (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — A pregnant woman was able to make it out of her truck right before it went up in flames in Lafayette, Louisiana, on Monday.
Alfrelisha Thibeaux thanked the stranger who saved her in a post on Facebook.
Thibeaux was in her truck on the interstate when she heard a strange noise. According to her post, in a matter of seconds, a man stopped and yelled “get out of the truck.”
The car then burst into flames.
Thanks to the life-saving message, Thibeaux quickly got out through the passenger side.
The man who saved Thibeaux has been identified as Connor Mauel, a volunteer firefighter with Saint Landry Parish Fire District 6.
"It was a normal routine to stop & check for u that turned out to be the miracle stop I needed that morning," wrote Thibeaux in her post.
