WASHINGTON (CIRCA) — A South Carolina teenage boy is defying the odds and learning to walk and talk again after a traumatic accident.
Jackson Gannon was involved in a head-on car crash in Georgia in June 2017. Doctors said he suffered a traumatic brain injury and his chances of survival were slim.
Almost two years after the accident, Jackson is learning how to walk on his own and say his first words since the crash.
According to the heartwarming video posted by the “Praying for Jackson” Facebook page, Jackson is learning to say the word "shoe."
