WASHINGTON (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — A drag queen in New Jersey made a toddler’s day with a performance of the "Baby Shark" song at a drag brunch Saturday.
Footage tweeted by Marti Gould Cummings shows the queen dancing to the popular song at Talde, a restaurant in Jersey City, where he hosts the brunch, as his 2-year-old fan claps along delightedly.
“When a 2-year-old comes to brunch, you perform Baby Shark for them,” Cummings captioned the now viral video.
“Anyone who thinks drag isn’t for children is wrong,” Cummings said in an interview with NBC News. “Drag is expression, and children are such judgment-free beings; they don’t really care what you’re wearing, just what you’re performing.”
