Dad returns from deployment disguised as a firefighter to surprise son

WASHINGTON (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — An Air Force captain returning home from a six-month deployment in Qatar surprised his young son in Texas — by dressing up as a firefighter.

The Abilene Fire Department shared video Tuesday of Cpt. Manny Lamson reuniting with young Connor.

“Since his son loves firefighters we got the opportunity to welcome him home in style!” the Facebook post reads.

In the video, Connor, like any 3-year-old boy, is only delighted to be shown around a firetruck. But he’s even more delighted when his dad steps out.
