WASHINGTON (CIRCA) — There's another royal baby on the way! No, not the first child of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, due this spring. We're talking the heir to the fictional land of Aldovia.
Netflix announced Monday that the leading characters of its "A Christmas Prince" franchise are expecting a bundle of joy later this year, revealing the third movie in the series will be called "A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby."
The streaming service tweeted a sonogram picturing a fetus wearing a crown, said to arrive "This Holiday Season."
The Netflix original movie "A Christmas Prince" was released Nov. 17, 2017, and follows the overseas adventures of American journalist Amber Moore (Rose McIver), who falls in love with — you guessed it — Prince Richard of Aldovia (Ben Lamb) one romantic December.
In the 2018 sequel "A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding," Amber marries Richard, now king, on Christmas Day.
Netflix hasn't released exact due dates for "The Royal Baby" movie or the little babe itself, but we can bet Princess Emily is practicing her aunt skills in the meantime.
