WASHINGTON (Circa) -- Model Jordyn Woods spoke out publicly for the first time since she became involved in a potential cheating scandal with NBA star Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian's ex.
Woods spoke with close family friend Jada Pinkett Smith on her show "Red Talk Table" on Facebook Watch. Woods was also joined by Smith's husband Will and her mother Adrienne Jones at the beginning of the show. Both of them gave her words of encouragement.
“I have known Jordyn Woods for her entire life,” Pinkett Smith said. “And I just want everybody to know that anybody that’s coming to the table today needs to understand that A, we’re dealing with really sensitive subjects and B, we need to deal with it with compassion.”
Woods became close friends with the Smith family through Woods' father, who served as a sound engineer for "Fresh Prince" and became good friends with Will.
Woods admitted to partying with Thompson alongside a group of friends.
“I was minding my business, dancing, drinking,” Woods told Smith. “Tristan was there, he was doing his own thing. That was it.”
She also says she sat on a chair next to Thompson but did not share any intimate moments with him during the party. As the night was ending, Woods left the party when Thompson decided to kiss her, according to Woods' account. Woods admitted that she shouldn't have been at the party and that she didn't tell Kardashian about the kiss to shield her feelings.
Kardashian responded to the interview through a tweet saying, "Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!"
