WASHINGTON (CIRCA) — Barack Obama has never been a president known for his fashion (Michelle cornered the market on First Family #looks). Unless we're talking about that infamous tan suit. But never fear, the 44th Commander in Chief had quite a fashion glow-up at the North Carolina vs. Duke basketball game on Feb. 20.
Barack Obama made quite a stir online after appearing in an all-black ensemble featuring a bomber jacket with '44' embroidered on the sleeve. The jacket itself was identified as this nearly $595 piece from Rag & Bone New York but it was really that small embroidered number that got people talking.
Barack Obama's jacket erased my credit card debt, fixed my posture, charged my phone, cleared my skin, called my mom, emptied my inbox, prepped my meals for the week, canceled my free trials, cleaned my bathroom, and paid my rent. pic.twitter.com/OG9qBNtWve— Emmy Bengtson (@EmmyA2) February 21, 2019
The takeaway from this: it's fine to show up to a game without sporting either team's gear as long as you make a fashion statement this iconic.
