WASHINGTON (CIRCA via CNN NEWSOURCE) — The snow moving across the central and eastern United States manifested as a 'thundersnowstorm' in Ohio.
The Ohio Department of Transportation's footage shows lightning flashing as snow falls in Columbus and Piqua. They said that they had 1,230 crews out on the morning of Feb. 20 to clear the snow.
As of 8:30am, we have 1,230 crews out across Ohio, including this truck on SR-47 in Logan County. Please give them plenty of room to work. Road conditions continue to improve across southern Ohio, but we're still seeing snowy conditions in NE Ohio. #ODOTwinter pic.twitter.com/GLZah5v6Tz— Ohio Dept of Transportation (@ODOT_Statewide) February 20, 2019
