CALEXICO, Calif. (CNN NEWSOURCE) – U.S. border agents rescue a man found in the All-American canal Monday night.

The officials saw three people come into the U.S. illegally near the Calexico port of entry.

The agents advanced and captured one individual, and the others tried to swim back to Mexico.

One of the men started to have trouble treading water.

When it became apparent the man was in danger and panicking, the agents took off their armor and saved the subject.

The 19-year-old Mexican had his body temperature stabilized and was checked over for any health issues.

Agents then transported the two captured men and had them processed for illegal entry.
