WAYNE, N.J. (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — A man really hit the bull's-eye when he surprised his girlfriend by popping the question while they were at a shooting range in Wayne, New Jersey, on Feb. 16.
Reloaderz NJ shared images to its Facebook page congratulating Kara Crampton and Jake Woodruff on their engagement, which some of its staff members helped organize.
Michael Nylen, the company's COO, and its general manager Carlos Negron helped Woodruff come up with the plan to use the action target pneumatic and electric turning target system to propose to Crampton.
"We were able to switch the regular target with the proposal target on demand to take Kara completely by surprise and give Jake the opportunity to get down on one knee," Reloaderz NJ told Storyful.
A video of the proposal shows the customized target, which gave Crampton the option to shoot at "yes" or "no" in answer to the big question. However, she ignored both options and turned to Woodruff to accept the proposal instead.
According to to Reloaderz NJ’s post, this was the first time somebody proposed marriage at the range.
