WATCH: Florida woman rescued from burning vacant home on Valentine's Day

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (CIRCA via CNN NEWSOURCE) - A Florida woman is recovering from smoke inhalation, but lucky to be alive after she was rescued from a house fire on Valentine’s Day, according to officials.

Deputies with the Okaloosa Country Sheriff's Office had to break through plywood, so firefighters could get her out of a home that was on fire.

The wood was covering windows because the house was vacant and officials say the woman is believed to be homeless.

Two of the deputies who helped rescue her also suffered from smoke inhalation.
