ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — A semitractor-trailer ran a red light Monday and struck an Ashwaubenon public safety officer in snowy conditions. The officer was proceeding forward into an intersection when the truck rammed into his patrol car.
According to Ashwaubenon Public Safety's Facebook page, the officer was “initially trapped” but was able to be freed without sustaining injuries. The street was closed for about two and a half hours, and the driver of the truck was cited for operating too fast for conditions, according to police.
