WASHINGTON (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — As many beach-goers know, you can't exactly nap in the ocean if you keep floating away. Next time, take a page out of these otters' book.
Otters at Monterey Bay in California attached themselves to buoys floating in the water to make sure they could sleep in peace. According to the Monterey Bay Whale Watch, they usually use kelp as a tie to keep themselves from floating away. This time, they used real rope from the buoys.
The video shared on Facebook has over 3,000 views as of Sunday morning.
