Why the hell is there a Nazi flag hanging in this high school classroom? One mom wants to know

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (CIRCA) — A Nazi flag hung inside a high school classroom in California is sparking controversy on social media.

A mother tweeted out a photo of what appeared to be a hanging Nazi flag inside the classroom.

Roxie Hartline said it was hung there because “they’re studying the Holocaust.”

The Public Information Officer for Kern High School District, Erin Briscoe, said the flag was being used as an example of something “real” from World War II for visual aid purposes.

The flag has been removed according to KERO.
