Not exactly efficient: Worker in Ohio salts road with a cup

AKRON, Ohio (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — A man tasked with diverting traffic in Akron, Ohio, during a recent snow storm was caught on camera calmly salting the icy roads, one scoop at a time.

In a video shared by Angela Brown on Tuesday, the city worker can be seen filling a large plastic cup with salt from the back of his truck and scattering it onto the road to help prevent any accidents.

Brown wrote, “The City of Akron efficiently clearing snow and salting one cup at a time.”

The office of Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan issued a statement following the video being shared, writing: “While awaiting a hand spreader to spread salt on the sidewalks, this individual chose to proactively use what was immediately available until the spreader arrived.
