WASHINGTON (CIRCA) -- The world's busiest airport reportedly shut down temporarily due to a threatening tweet, WXIA reports.

A heavy police presence was seen at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Wednesday evening. At least one aircraft, Delta Flight 2234, was evacuated according to WXIA.

One Twitter user, Shaheed Malik, sent out a message wondering "what's going on at the Atlanta airport? All planes grounded. Police cars are surrounding this Delta flight into Atlanta."

After inspecting an aircraft that was leaving Atlanta to go to Austin, Texas, police gave the all-clear. An explosive team was in the plane investigating the threat, our sister station WXGA reports.
