Thousands march in DC for pro-life legislation

WASHINGTON (CIRCA) — People from all over the country were scheduled to march up Constitution Avenue to the Supreme Court and Capitol Building in Washington on Friday for the 46th annual March for Life.

The rally marks the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United Sates.

Despite the current government shutdown, thousands were expected to attend the pro-life march.

During the rally, leaders like Ben Shapiro, editor-in-chief of the Daily Wire; Rep. Dan Lipinski, D-Ill.; and Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., were expected to speak.
