WASHINGTON (CIRCA and CNN NEWSOURCE) — Divers off the coast of Hawaii experienced a special visitor during their swim — a great white shark that they believe to be the legendary "Deep Blue."

They swam with the massive shark and were even able to get close enough to touch her. Deep Blue is a 20-foot-long female believed to be one of the largest Great Whites on the planet. She's over 50 years old.

One of the divers, Ocean Ramsey, said her team spotted Deep Blue as she fed on a whale carcass. As she passed the boat, the divers were able to reach out and touch her. The divers and Deep Blue spent the rest of the day together.
