Michael Strahan invites Clemson Tigers to feast on lobster and caviar on 'Good Morning America'

CHARLESTON, S.C. (CIRCA via WCIV) — First it was fast food and pizza with President Donald Trump. Now, the Clemson Tigers have been invited to dine on some finer cuisine by Pro Football Hall of Famer and "Good Morning America" co-host Michael Strahan.

"Come out here, whoever can make it," Strahan said on Tuesday's show. "We will have lobster. Whatever you want, we're gonna take care of you. We're gonna give you the proper meal that you deserve, because that was one great game, a great accomplishment."

Clemson defeated Alabama 44-16 on Jan. 7 in the College Football Playoff national championship game, becoming the first 15-0 team in the history of college football. It's the Tigers' second title in three years.

"We thought, what we could give them? I thought lobster was great," Strahan said. "It's out of my pocket. I got you guys. I'll pay for it, no problem. Those guys deserve it. Congratulations."
