WASHINGTON (CIRCA via SBG) — "Seinfeld" and "King of Queens" actor Jerry Stiller is recovering in a New York City hospital after a serious health scare, according to RadarOnline.

A source initially told the publication that the 91-year old father of Ben Stiller had suffered stroke-like symptoms, a claim refuted by others close to the family after the story broke.

“He was completely checked out,” another source told the Daily News. “There are no signs of a stroke. He’s resting, and they’re going to send him home in a couple days. He’s totally fine.”

The TV and film star, who also appeared in "Zoolander" and its sequel with his son, also has a daughter, Amy, with his wife, actress and comedian Anne Meara, who died in 2015.

Another former "Seinfeld" star, Julia Louis Dreyfus, had a health scare over a year ago when she said she had breast cancer. But she announced she had beaten it and taken her last chemotherapy treatment last January.
