CINCINNATI (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — An Ohio State Highway Patrol car and a Cincinnati Police Department cruiser were struck by a car while assisting a vehicle on Interstate 75 on Tuesday.
Footage from the OSHP shows the moment the vehicle struck the cruisers, reportedly causing a shutdown of the interstate. According to the OSHP’s post, nobody was seriously injured in the collision.
The department urged drivers to abide by the rules of the road, writing, “Ohio law requires drivers to move over or slow down and proceed with caution when approaching stationary public safety vehicles with lights activated.”
