FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — A Florida woman and her blind daughter were rescued by police after the car they were in went into a lake during heavy rain on Jan. 4.
Police bodycam footage shows a woman in the passenger seat being helped out of a car in shallow water and being led to safety. A service dog and another woman can also be seen.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said the mother, Nancy Burns, told them that she’d driven into the water after misjudging a turn and couldn’t open the car doors.
According to police, neither the women nor the dog were injured in the incident.
