Toy store sells diverse dolls

This former Toys R Us manager opened a store that sells dolls of color

HYATTSVILLE, Md. (CIRCA) — After Toys R Us closed its doors for good earlier this year, a former manager decided to use what he learned on the job to open his own toy store outside Washington, D.C.

What’s different about Glendon Warner’s store, Toys Babies & More, is that he sells toys that are hard to find on the shelves of big-box stores.

Warner decided he wanted to offer a wide variety of toys that represent the world's diversity.

Since he opened, parents have been coming into the store in search of dolls that look like their children.
