UNITED KINGDOM (WKRC) - In what can only be described as a "dream job" for photographers and, well... anyone ever, really, a wealthy couple hailing from the United Kingdom wants to hire someone to follow them around the world and document their travels.
According to Perfocal, a website that seeks to connect people who are in need of photographers, this request is unlike anything that they have seen before.
The cherry on top is that the job pays 80,000 British pounds, which translates to a little over $100,000 (Google says $100,650 at the time of this writing).
The other, juicer, cherry on top of that first cherry is that the employer will also cover travel, food and accommodation expenses. Oh and you also get 30 days of vacation.
"According to the request, the position will involve travelling outside of the UK for up to three months at a time (who doesn't want to?!), and hopeful candidates are warned that they must have at least five years’ experience in this kind of photography, and be subject to a full background check," said Perfocal on their post about the job.
The full request, which you can read here, details what the family has in plan.
They need someone to travel with them to places like Europe, America, South America, and Australia where they say they own a number of holiday homes and other residences.
They say that the photographer they choose will accompany them to events like the Formula One Grand Prix in Monaco and Abu Dhabi, diving in the Maldives, Mardi Gras in New Orleans and the Rio de Janeiro Carnival, as well as skiing in Val d'Isere.
The family wants a candidate with at least five years of experience shooting "lifestyle shots" and they will also be running "extensive background checks" on applicants.
Candidates will need to be willing to work up to 10 hours a day and be willing to leave home at short notice and be okay with potentially travelling for most of the year, sometimes only coming home for a few days at a time at most.
Their first trip starts in February.
"The family has asked to remain anonymous until they narrow applicants down to a shortlist due to the high profile nature of the father’s job," said Perfocal.
