She was about to fuss at her teen for bolting out the door, until she saw him do this

LOS ANGELES (CIRCA) — Lizz Ingram had no idea what on earth her son was doing.

The Brooklyn, New York, resident just saw her 13-year-old son bolt out the door — in her slippers even — but right as she was about to fuss at her son, she saw what was unfolding.

Turns out Jordan Glover-Ingram had spotted an elderly neighbor walking in the pouring rain. So he grabbed an umbrella, his mom’s slippers, and went out to help.

Ingram caught the end of the action in a cell phone video she shared to Facebook.

“I was all set to fuss at him until I saw what he did,” she said. “I love this boy.”

But the story doesn't stop there. NYPD caught word of Jordan's good deed and decided to reward him with a Playstation 4.
