Migrant teen girls injured after fall from border fence in Arizona

YUMA, Ariz. (CIRCA via STORYFUL) — A pair of Guatemalan teenagers sustained severe injuries after falling from an 18-foot-high border fence separating Yuma, Arizona, from Mexico.

The girls arrived at the fence with four others Friday afternoon.

After falling from the fence, a 14-year-old girl broke several vertebrae and was sent to a Phoenix hospital for treatment.

A 17-year-old girl also fell, sustaining an ankle injury that was treated at a local hospital.
