WASHINGTON (CIRCA) — Police are often the first to step up when others are in need. During this snowstorm in Texas, though, citizens stepped up to help the police.
A police car was stuck in the snow in the winter storm that's hit Lubbock, Texas. Some nearby people trudged through the snowy road to help try to push the car free.
The Lubbock Police Department shared the video on Facebook to thank the community.
"We're honored to protect and serve this amazing community - and especially thankful when they protect and serve us in return," the post reads. "The good news is the officer was able to get back to service after these good samaritans helped him out!"
