WASHINGTON (CIRCA) — This Ohio woman doesn't just decorate pumpkins for Halloween.
Jeanette Paras has become famous for painting celebrities on giant pumpkins each year. This year, rapper (and political figure?) Kanye West got the pumpkin treatment in a creation that wants you to "Make Pumpkins Great Again."
She released this year's pumpkin at the end of October, but as you can see from the Christmas decorations "Ye" now has on, Paras says the pumpkins typically last about three months.
This is Paras' 30th year decorating celebrity pumpkins. She picks her celebrities based on who has made headlines in a given year.
While political figures, like West, often make the pumpkins, she says her creations are nonpartisan.
Regarding the rapper, Paras told Circa sister station WSYX/WTTE, "he’s the topic of conversation. That’s what it takes to get ‘pumpkinized’ and land on my porch. There was any number of people who could’ve made it this year. I decided on YE.”
