LYNDHURST, N.J. (CIRCA) — The popular Medieval Times dinner and show has replaced all of its kings with queens for the first time in the show's 34-year history. Her Majesty Dona Maria Isabella is the first woman to hold the throne and play a leading role at Medieval Times around the country.
Dona Maria Isabella was crowned earlier this year and has since taken on the previous king's responsibilities. She presides over a tournament of knights who test their skills in a series of games, jousting and combat.
The new show features a new story and brings with it new costumes, handmade armor, fight scenes and music.
