"Good Morning Britain" host Piers Morgan launched into an International Men's Day rant on Monday's edition of the show, eliciting a hilarious response from his co-host, Susanna Reid, the Daily Mail reported.
Morgan said: "Happy International Men's Day today, by the way. We do need a day! We are now the most downtrodden group of people in the world. Especially white middle-class men like me. We're an endangered species like rhinos!"
He then said it's OK to be a man still and "it's not illegal — yet."
Reid rolled her eyes and mostly ignored Morgan.
Morgan said he was disappointed and was hoping he'd receive a warm welcome.
Then, a clip was shown of the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, being greeted by women with petals thrown at his feet on a red carpet.
Reid then grabbed Morgan's script, ripped it up, and mockingly threw the pieces like flower petals.
"Is that what you what? On International Men's Day?" she said as paper showered down around Morgan.
"I want a bit of fawning, yeah," he said.
"Yeah? That make you feel better? I've boosted your fragile ego and your sense of endangerment?" Susanna asked, continuing her riff.
