WASHINGTON (Circa) — Kim Porter, the mother of Diddy's three kids and the artist's ex-girlfriend, has died at the age of 47 according to TMZ.
Porter suffered a cardiac arrest, according to an emergency dispatch call. A source told TMZ she had been suffering from flu-like symptoms including the possibility of pneumonia for the past several weeks. Porter, a former model, dated Diddy for 13 years. They broke up in 2007.
Another source told TMZ she was in contact with her doctor Wednesday about her condition. She complained about not feeling well, according to the source.
Porter leaves behind two twin daughters Jessie James and D'Lila as well as a son Christian Combs -- all of whom are Diddy's children. She also leaves behind Quincy Brown, a child she had with R&B singer Al B. Sure!.
"Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time," Diddy's representative Cindi Berger told TMZ.
Porter was the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter as of late Thursday afternoon after the news broke as tributes poured in.
