Who the hell redesigned Tide to look like box wine?

LOS ANGELES (CIRCA) -- Just when we almost weaned the world off of Tide pods, Procter & Gamble has unveiled a new way for idiots to poison themselves.

Tide's parent company recently announced that it will begin selling its liquid laundry detergent in new packaging. The e-commerce-only offering is about the size of a shoe box, weighs just under eight pounds and is supposed to be more eco-friendly.

Sounds great, right? Not when you discover what it looks like.

Yep. Tide just repackaged itself to look like blue box wine.

After we spent the better part of a year convincing people to not confuse Tide pods with candy, here comes the blue Tide wine with a shot glass to boot.

And you'd better believe that the internet caught onto the similarity, too.

If you're actually into the eco-friendly new design -- or you're ready to chug-a-lug to your death -- you can find the new Tide box on Amazon, Target.com, Kroger.com and other online retailers for a suggested retail price of $19.99.

Isn't this planet great?
