WASHINGTON (Circa) – A week after Pete Davidson made a controversial joke about retired Navy Seal Dan Crenshaw being a wounded veteran, it was Crenshaw's turn to get the last laugh on 'SNL'.
Newly elected Congressman Crenshaw showed up at ‘Saturday Night Live's' Weekend Update desk to accept an apology from Davidson.
"On behalf of the show, and myself, I apologize," Davidson said.
Crenshaw accepted Davidson’s apology and then Crenshaw's phone went off playing an Ariana Grande song as his ringtone.
Crenshaw then poked fun at Davidson's appearance by saying "This is Pete Davidson. He looks like if the meth from 'Breaking Bad' was a person."

Dan Crenshaw, thank you for accepting the apology and giving us all a laugh.
This is what resolving a problem looks like and we need more of this.
