Burger King employee goes viral after helping an elderly customer to his car

WASHINGTON (Circa) — A photo of a Burger King cashier helping an elderly customer to his car in Mechanicsville, Virginia is going viral.

Facebook user Elizabeth Chandler captured the moment and posted it on her page. It has been shared over 500 times, has over 400 reactions and over 100 comments.

In the post, Chandler said "Shout out to the cashier at the Mechanicsville Burger King, making this world a little brighter 💗 #spreadloveNOThate"

The cashier has been identified as 19-year-old Alexis Easter. The man has also been identified simply as Mr. John and is apparently a regular at the restaurant, Fox News reports.

“When he’s done, I help him to the car because he has a terrible back. When we get to his car, we talk and I make sure he’s safe,” Easter said to WTVR-TV.

Chandler was passing by when she caught what happened.

“Seeing her help this gentleman was so heartwarming. It’s so seldom to see people going out of their way for others and expecting nothing in return. Since posting this I learned that Alexis is only 19 and does this on a regular basis for any customer in need,” Chandler said to Yahoo.

Furthermore, Chandler said in an interview with WTVR that his is the culture at this Burger King location.

"Every employee I have ever seen goes so far out of their way for everyone. Another employee named Monica hands out plaques to those going through hard times, including my grandmother when she was going through treatment for cancer," Chandler said.
