Protests are planned outside of the White House after Jeff Sessions is fired

WASHINGTON (Circa) — A group of people who are a part of the “Trump is not above the law” group are mobilizing and will protest outside the White House Thursday evening. They want the White House to limit the scope of new Attorney General Matthew Whitaker and his role in the investigation into Russian meddling in the elections.

Hundreds of other protests called “Mueller Protection Rapid Response” have been set across the country Thursday afternoon.

Jeff Sessions submitted his letter of resignation at the request of President Donald Trump Wednesday. President Donald Trump named Whitaker the new Attorney General shortly after the Sessions announcement.
