High school football coach enlists his players to help propose

WASHINGTON (Circa) — A high school football coach in Georgia proposed to his girlfriend this week with the help of his players.

Nafis Pickett coaches the wide receivers and is in charge of college recruiting for Lanier High School Football in Sugar Hill, Georgia. He posted the now viral video on Twitter this week of his sweet proposal on the field to his girlfriend, Ashley Wilson.

The video begins with the players thanking Wilson for her help and letting their coach work with them. They each give her red roses as Pickett begins his speech. When he gets down on one knee, she accepts his proposal to the sounds of cheers from the boys.

In the video, Pickett thanks her for all her support with the team including taking the players on recruiting trips.

"She's the love of my life," Pickett told "Good Morning America" in an interview. "She supports me in everything I do ... She's at every single football game, she knows it's my passion. She knows I'll do anything [for] those boys."
