TAMPA, Fla. (CIRCA via WPEC) - Police in Tampa, Florida, say a car hit three children and two adults at a school bus stop on Thursday morning.
According to WTSP-TV, one child is in critical condition.
The crash happened just after 8 a.m. on East Bougainvillea and Marvy avenues.
WTSP reports the driver was being questioned by police. No word yet if there will be charges in the case.
According to WTSP, witnesses told police the car hit the group of people on the side of the road while driving at a high rate of speed.
Thursday's incident comes two days after twin 6-year-old boys and their 9-year-old sister were fatally struck by a pickup truck as they were about to board a school bus in Indiana.
