WASHINGTON (Circa) — At least six people have been shot after a shooting occurred near TIAA Bank Field, the stadium where the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars play.
Police say three of the six people who were shot are in critical condition. They also do not currently have a suspect in custody. During a press conference, police said they believe the shooting could've been gang related.
Witnesses tell News4Jax two women and two men were shot outside of a laundromat. One witness says a man was shot in the head while a woman was shot in the hip, News4Jax reports. Furthermore, the witnesses tell the news outlet that they believe this was a drive-by shooting.
Police believe the suspect was driving a gray or silver four door car.
The shooting had no effect on the football game being played between the Jaguars and the Houston Texans. Fans who parked near where the shooting occurred will be escorted by police.
