Family Dollar looted in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael

WASHINGTON (Circa) — About 40 people were seen looting and ransacking a Family Dollar store in Panama City, Florida on Thursday.

Video from the scene shows the Family Dollar totally destroyed as nearby residents carry goods from the facility. There appears to be no police presence on the scene.

The video, captured by videographer Andrew Newcomb, also shows kids with their guardians, cars in a nearby parking lot and adults teaming up to carry things out of the facilities.

Hurricane Michael made landfall in Florida as a category four storm on Wednesday afternoon. At least two people are dead as a result of the storm.
