WASHINGTON (Circa) — The streets of Brooklyn were bustling on Wednesday after a llama went on the loose.
Twitter user @jacobkornbluh captured the moment on his profile page. The animal held up traffic at 14th Avenue and 54th Street .
An onlooker on the scene could be heard shouting "runaway llama!"
The animal was in town after a farm brought it along to showcase to kids at a nearby elementary school.
It is unknown how the animal escaped onto the streets.
“They brought it down to show to the kids,” Yankee Freiler, a worker at the elementary school told The New York Post. “They took it back to the farm.”
