SAN ANTONIO (WOAI) — New cellphone video shows an alleged road rage incident that took place in San Antonio.
Melissa Williams had been driving Sunday afternoon when she claims a driver cut her off, at least twice, before both cars stopped at a red light.
The cellphone video we received shows a man punching front-seat passenger Omini Williams, a 17-year-old.
"Outrageous that a grown man would just go up to a car they don't even know, and just start hitting a random kid,” said Omini.
"Maybe, because I was honking at him, he got mad,” said Melissa. “I don't know."
"He just got out of the car, and started going off,” said Omini. “I was pretty shocked to be honest. I was like, why would you do that in front of the kids?”
Omini claims the man responsible was with a woman and two children.
As seen in the video, a man wearing a San Antonio Spurs jersey stepped-in and ended the altercation.
"He was the only one, out of everybody behind us, that got out and actually got the guy to get into his car,” said Melissa.
We’re told the man drove away moments after the recording stopped. Now, Melissa and her son have a message for him.
"Turn yourself in,” said Omini. “Apologize at least, that's pretty messed up."
"At the end of the day, you put your hands on a kid,” said Melissa. “That's not right. You put your hands on my son. That's my son. That's not okay."
The video has been given to the San Antonio Police Department. As of Monday afternoon, no arrests had been made.
