The book by Kavanaugh's former classmate, Mark Judge, sold on eBay for $850.

WASHINGTON (Circa) — A copy of Mark Judge’s memoir “Wasted: Tales of a Gen X Drunk“, has sold on eBay for 850 dollars.

The self-help memoir was brought up numerous times during Judge Kavanaugh’s hearing. The book describes a culture heavy drinking during his time at Georgetown Prep, where he was a close friend of Brett Kavanaugh and a classmate.

A character in the book “Bart O’Kavanaugh” was described as having passed out drunk and vomiting in someone’s car. During the hearing Senator Leahy questioned Kavanaugh about the "Bart O'Kavanaugh" character. Judge Kavanaugh stated the book is a fictional account and Mark Judge would be the one who could speak on its intent.

“Wasted: Tales of a Gen X Drunk” was published in 1997 by Hazelden Publishing. Since the repeated mention of the book during the Kavanaugh hearing and increased interest in the book has popped up around the internet.
