Idaho boys go viral with their creative way of keeping the US flag off the ground

WASHINGTON (Circa) — These three boys did not expect to go viral when they took down the flag at Hayden Meadows Elementary School in Hayden Lake, Idaho. But the photo has now been shared over 4,000 times on Facebook, probably due to their solution for making sure it never touched the ground.

A mother of children at the school shared the photo she took on Facebook, explaining, "They were having a hard time making sure it didn't touch the ground when the third boy laid under it to honor not letting it touch the ground!"

Facebook users have expressed their pride at the boys' patriotism in the comments.
