Amazon to bring Alexa to your car


WASHINGTON (Circa) - Amazon announced they are currently working with several car companies to being Alexa to cars and trucks.

Toyota, Ford, Lexus, BMW and Audi were listed as some of the high profile partners working with the Seattle-based company on Echo Auto, according to reports.

The device was described as a small dongle that plugs into a vehicle's entertainment or info system. It will give drivers the Alexa smart assistant to get items like traffic reports, music or a shopping lists.

Echo Auto will also integrate with other Amazon products so a person could turn off lights at home or turn on an appliance as they are coming and going from their home.

Amazon also said a person can use the drop-in feature to interact with people on their contact lists.
