Mother of daughter killed by MS-13 is struck by SUV

WASHINGTON (Circa) - The mother of an MS-13 victim honored by Trump was struck and killed by an SUV Friday at her daughter's memorial.

Evelyn Rodriguez, 50, was hit following a confrontation with the driver of the SUV just before a candlelight memorial for her daughter who was murdered by MS-13 exactly two years prior. Reports say Rodriguez was transported to the hospital, where she died.

Her daughter, Kayla Cuevas was attacked and killed by MS-13 members in 2016. Since then, Rodriguez has been an advocate against gang violence. She attended Trump's State of the Union address and joined him at a forum about gang violence in Long Island.
