Frank Ocean responds to rumors of the cease and desist against Travis Scott

WASHINGTON (Circa) - Frank Ocean has filed a cease and desist against fellow artist Travis Scott, but not about his feature on "Astroworld."

TMZ reported yesterday that Ocean was unhappy with the way Travis Scott remixed his vocals on the track "Carousel." The report says that Ocean's legal team filed the cease and desist asking that Scott remove the vocals entirely from the song.

Frank Ocean responded today to the rumors, squashing the news that the letter was in regards to the song.

"I think the song sounds cool, I did it in like 20 minutes and the mix sounds the way Travis wanted it to sound for his record." Ocean wrote in a Tumblr post. "I also approved it before it came out so the cease and desist wasn't about 🔊it was about 🏳️‍🌈. Me and Travis resolved it amongst ourselves weeks ago."

Travis Scott also responded on Instagram after the news broke. He posted a picture of a Frank Ocean t-shirt, calling him "someone I call family."
