WASHINGTON (Circa) — Former first lady Michelle Obama will go on tour to promote her memoir, "Becoming."

But instead of the usual bookstore signings, Obama will be doing appearances at major venues across the country.

The 10-city tour kicks off in her hometown of Chicago on Nov. 13.

Live Nation, the organization running the book tour, said “it will feature intimate and honest conversations between Mrs. Obama and a selection of to-be announced moderators, reflective of the extraordinary stories shared in the wide-ranging chapters of her deeply personal book.”

She’ll be visiting cities like Los Angeles, Washington, Dallas and Denver.

Obama said, “I’m proud of what I’ve created because it’s candid and honest.”

Her memoir "Becoming" will be released on Nov. 13.
