White man pulls a gun on black students to stop them from entering Florida apartment building

WASHINGTON (Circa) - A video is circulating on Twitter showing an altercation between four black students and a white man at a Florida apartment complex.

The video appears to show the man attempting to stop the students from entering the building, and holding a gun when they try to get onto the elevator with him. The students told ABC News they were waiting for a friend to let them inside the building when the man locked the door on them, and then came outside to reiterate his point that they were not going to be let inside. The building says the incident was reported to police.

The man was identified on social media and by local news outlets as Don Crandall, a general manager of a local hotel at the time of the video. The hotel has since released a statement of apology, and he is no longer employed there.
